Born out of passion, personal connection to CSA and a fervent desire to create social change, SAFE was founded in late 2014. With intention, an emphasis on evidence-informed and evidenced-based education and research, and the empowerment of children and adults, SAFE is committed to the prevention of CSA.
Erin McLain has over twenty years of experience in the non-profit sector and specializes in non-profit management, fundraising consulting, infrastructure and organizational management, grant writing and interim leadership. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Her career in the non-profit sector has included work in the areas of arts and culture, health and human services, education and youth development for organizations with budgets ranging from $80,000 to $12,000,000. She lives in Denver with her husband and two daughters.
